While new generation Kia Seltos is ready for debut on December 10, the Tata Safari and Harrier will receive a new petrol engine on December 9, which has already debuted in the tata Sierra. Next month, Renault will bring back the new generation Duster SUV on January 26. This will mark the comeback of one of the most popular and bestselling nomenclatures in Indian auto market.

Can 72,000 public chargers fix India’s slow EV adoption?
India’s electric vehicle (EV) market is expanding, but adoption remains modest across most segments, particularly cars, buses, and two-wheelers. An August report by Niti Aayog noted that while more than half of India’s three-wheelers are now electric, other categories continue to lag. Global EV penetration stood at 16.48% in 2024, compared with just 7.66% in India.

Fossil fuels today are at the root of multiple societal problems. Among the alternatives ways in which society can reduce consumption of fossil fuels, raising energy efficiency is perhaps the simplest and most economical policy to address many of those problems simultaneously. SKF India Industrial expects top line to nearly double in 5 years
The industrial business, which became a standalone entity after SKF India carried out a statutory demerger effective October 1, is set to list on stock exchanges on December 5. Under a court-approved scheme of arrangement, existing shareholders received one share of SKF India (Industrial) Ltd for every share held in SKF India Ltd. The demerger split the operations into two focused entities — SKF Automotive and SKF India (Industrial) — with the stated objective of sharpening sector-specific strategies and unlocking shareholder value.

Pune: SKF India (Industrial) Ltd., the newly demerged industrial business of SKF India, was formally listed today on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). As a standalone entity, SKF India (Industrial) Ltd. announced a planned capital investment of ₹8,000–9,500 million through 2030, enabling capacity expansion, localisation of high-value components, and accelerated technology deployment across its India operations. Delhi shivers at 5.6°C for second day as air quality slips to ‘very poor’
